Brian Chino

The late Brian Chino, “Kee-Yu-Wy-Sde-Wa” began hand coiling pottery in 1988.  Chino’s family was an established group of artisans, but it was his mother, Edna Chino, who really helped him hone his talent.  She taught him the fundamentals of making pottery using ancient methods passed down to her from her ancestors. Brian's work is well known for his detailed fine line designs on minitaure pottery. His pottery is signed as: Brian Chino, Acoma.
