Leonard Tsosie "Corn Hill" was born in the late 1940's into the Jemez Pueblo. Leonard first began working with clay when he was 11 and was later inspired to continue a long lived tradition by observing his wife, Emily Fragua-Tsosie.
Leonard specializes in natural hand molded and hand painted figurines and storytellers. He enjoys making horses most of all. He signs his pottery: L. Tsosie-Corn-Hill, Jemez. Leonard is related to Joanne Toribio and Irene Herrera (sisters).
