This Navajo handwoven Chinle rug is woven with natural and vegetally dyed wool. These rugs from the Chinle area are similar in design to the Wide Ruins rugs. Like Wide Ruins, they tend to be woven of yarns dyed with native vegetal dyes. The banded designs usually feature wider and bolder geometrics. This Chinle is Ca: 1940. This is a one of a kind item. 4'11" x 2'9"
