Apache Figured Olla CA 1890. Apache figured olla with gradually sloping shoulder and flaring rim. This basket is woven of willow and devil's claw. The basket's design features a round, black design on the base, and a series of stepped lines interlocking to form diamonds. There are 6 human figures within the diamonds around the body of the basket and 6 coyotes in the half-diamonds beneath the black rim. There is one stitch missing at the rim and a few minor scuffs on the shoulder. The basket measures approximately 9 1/2 inches tall, 7 3/4 inches at the shoulder and 6 1/4 inches at the lip.
