Large Apache Burden Basket CA 1910. Willow with wire rim and painted black/red bands. Native tanned buckskin strips and fringe with threaded buckskin at rim. There is a name painted on the side; Ada Miles. Possibly a recipient in a puberty ceremony. This basket is 15" high and 16" diameter with a 8 1/2" bottom. Made in the USA.
