Apache man's shirt Ca: 1850. This rare and early Apache man's shirt is constructed of hide (probably muledeer) and rubbed with terra cotta paint with a strip of red ochre paint along the sleeve. Special care was given to the fringe which is very fine, yet sturdy. Beading has been added to the shirt at the shoulder, neck, and sleeve. Sinew thread is used throughout. This is a one of a kind item.
