This is a handmade pot from the Cochiti tribe. This pot was created by Guadalupe Ortiz who has been active from 1998 to the present. She also creates polychrome jars, bowls, figures, drums, rattles, and wood carvings. Guadalupe was born in 1929 and her husband is Seferina Ortiz; father of Joyce Lewis, Mary Janice Ortiz, Inez Ortiz, Virgil Ortiz, Leon Ortiz and Angie Ortiz. Guadalupe's favorite designs are human figures, frogs, water serpents, bears, buffalo and dogs. This is a one of a kind item. 4" x 2 1/4"
