This is a handmade Native American pot and is a one of a kind item. This Zuni Deer bowl is Ca 1910. A utilitarian bowl, not made for sale but used in the kiva. Bowl shows wear from continued use of a ladle hung from the edge. Red clay with white slip at upper outside edge and inside of the bowl. Red, yellow, and black painted geometrics, fine lines, and stylized bird figures. This pot is 12 1/2" inches wide by 6 1/4" high.
