Crucita Gonzales (Blue Corn) has been active from 1923-1995. She is the adopted daughter of Ramona Sanchez Gonzales and Juan Gonzales; wife of Santiago Calabaza, mother of Joseph Calabaza. Blue corn is known for her polychrome-on-cream, red-on-red, black-on-black jars, bowls, plates, wedding vases, oval blackware lidded boxes, black-on-black owl figures.
