This is a unique Santo Domingo necklace made by artist Christopher Nieto. This necklace is inlaid with many different semi-precious stones ranging from serpentine, spiny oyster shell, jet, mother of pearl and turquoise. The necklace measures 18" inches from end to end. Each stone is hand cut to fit the necklace, which makes this necklace a very masterful achievement. Before the turn of century the Santo Domingo people traded materials/goods for the valuable shells used in their jewelry. ONE ONLY!
