NAVAJO INLAY STERLING SILVER NECKLACE -NK152

View Details
Navajo Sterling Silver Inlay naja and bead necklace by Navajo artist Maria Platero. Contemporary and artistic, the ancient naja symbol copied from the conquistador bridle decorations of the Spanish Moors is given a unique modern interpretation. The naja curve is itself a lightning symbol inlaid with oxblood red Mediterranean coral with turquoise accents. The coral inlay storm clouds are represented along the top of the naja curve. The pendant within the arch of the naja is a corn symbol inlaid with coral. The sterling silver beads are interspersed with inlaid barrels of coral with turquoise and shell accents. The bead necklace measures 29 inches. The naja is approximately 2 3/4 inches wide. ONE ONLY!
