View Details Navajo Sterling Silver and Turquoise Sandcast Link Bracelet A chain of lacy-fine sterling silver sandcast rosettes each set with a tiny hand cut turquoise stone. "Sandcasting", rarely practiced now, was a method used by the Navajo in which a design was carved out of a light sandstone called tufa. A flat tufa backing was placed against the design to form a mold in which the molten silver was poured. Please note, this is a hand made one of a kind item.
