Pima Tray. Circa 1920. This finely woven tray is designed with a whirling fret pattern and is woven of willow and devil's claw. These Pima baskets were made then much as they are today using a knife, an awl, and the weaver's skill. The basket measures approximately 10 inches in diameter, 2 inches deep.
