View Details A beautiful Native American Indian hand crafted reproduction talking stick. A talking stick is used during a tribal council meeting. Whoever possesses the talking stick is given the floor to speak his or her peace. No one else may speak while the talking stick is held by another person. The talking stick is passed around the room so that all are given equal opportunity to speak. Its purpose is to insure order during council meetings that affect all members of the tribe. The talking stick has strips of leather and beads (will vary with each one) and has horse hair, rabbit fur and feathers for decorations. Please note, this is a hand made one of a kind item.
