Cameron Trading Post Native American Indian Artists

The artistic talent of many Native American Indians is integral to their way of life. The Pueblo pottery made, the Navajo rugs woven and the Hopi kachina dolls carved are not only considered art but also necessities of everyday life. Although much of the exquisite Native American art created centuries ago is unsigned, recent generations have left their mark on their unique pottery, sculptures, Indian jewelry and Navajo rugs. In an effort to help provide understanding and appreciation for the incredible skill involved in the carving, sculpting, painting and weaving process, Cameron Trading Post has compiled a collection of biographies on some of the Southwest's finest Native American artists. Please reference one of the links below to look up the artist alphabetically or by skill.
