Navajo Hand-Plaited Rawhide Bridle CA 1910
Navajo hand-plaited rawhide bridle with an iron bit and early-Lucite rosettes. The Lucite rosette was mostly seen in jewelry in the early 20th century. The bridle comes with the custom steel stand shown in the photograph. There is an anchor symbol on the right hand side of the bit, which is a hallmark for the North & Judd Manufacturing Company of Connecticut. The anchor brand itself originates to the late 1800's. CA 1910. One of a kind. Measures 67 1/2" in height.
