Raku Pottery Vase
This hand thrown vessel designed and produced by Jeremy Diller, is fired in an outdoor kiln to 2000F. Molten hot, it is placed in a pit with dried brush and mesquite shavings that burst into flame. The varying conditions such as ambient temperature, wind, and the unique way flames lick a piece each time, assure that your vessel is one of a kind. This pot has images of 3 lizards that extend around the pot. Lizards are said to use dreams to see the future.
